BAYERO UNIVERSITY KANO TO HOST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT MODELS                                                                                  20-01-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                      The Faculty of Economics and Management Science, Bayero University Kano (BUK), is set to host the 4th International Conference and Doctoral Colloquium (ICDC) on economic and development sustainable models.

According to Prof. Kabir Hamid, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, the conference will take place from Tuesday, January 21st, 2025.

He explained that, the conference will feature local and international speakers discussing various disciplines, including accounting, economics, public administration, and management sciences.

The chairman highlighted that, the conference themed, ”Management for Sustainable Development in Times of Economic Uncertainties: Issues, Perspectives, and Challenges,” aims to provide a platform for discourse on strategic management approaches.

“ addressing contemporary economic and financial challenges, and exploring innovative solutions for resilience and stability”

Professor Kabiru maintained that, the conference will bring together thought leaders, policymakers, academics, and industry professionals to discuss sustainable economic models.

“financial resilience, and innovative management practices that can enhance economic stability and inclusive growth”.
