FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ASKED NIGERIANS TO KEEP THEIR HOPE ALIVE AS PRESIDENT TINUBU’S REFORMS YIELD THE INTENDED OUTCOME 05-02-25
By Sadiq Aminu The Federal Government has asked Nigerians to keep their hope alive as President Tinubu’s reforms have begun to yield the intended outcome.
The Minister of information and National Orientation, Alhaji Muhammad Idris, gave this indication in Abuja at the end of this week’s meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC.
The Minister’s request is part of efforts at implanting and retaining citizens’ confidence in the reforms being implemented by the government.
He stressed that the recent, multiple approval of infrastructure projects across the country, aimed at enhancing the standard of living for daily income earners and fostering economic expansion, was an indication that the economy had begun to improve.
“There were about 67 memos considered by the Federal Executive Council. A lot of construction jobs being approved. If course, this is in addition to so many other measures that government is doing.
The Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is listening to the public and ensuring that the economy comes back to life again”, he said.
Alhaji Muhammad Idris said by the end of this year, Nigerians would begin to reap the fruits of their sacrifice and resilience, prompted by the reforms.
He explained that the approved projects were part of a strategic plan, not only to address the nation’s infrastructure needs, but to create immediate employment opportunities for the the youth, noting that it is the quickest way to keeping the nation rejuvenated.
“The reforms are working, the economy is actually beginning to turn the corner. This year, 2025, is a year of consolidation of all the reforms that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has embarked upon, and we believe that by the end if the year, the economy will be a lot better. Keep your hope alive. The Renewed Hope Agenda is on track”, the Minister assured.
Alhaji Muhammad Idris said the quantum of projects approved would also allow daily income earners participate in the process of rebuilding the country’s infrastructure.
