FG TASKS NIGERIANS ON LEGAL MIGRATION TO OVERSEAS                                                                                                                                08-02-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                The Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment has called on Nigerians to migrate abroad legally with necessary documents to avoid imprisonment.

Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Muhammad Dingyadi, stated this in Abuja when he received a delegation from the IHK Giessen-Friedberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Germany.

Dr Dingyadi said the meeting became necessary to streamline legitimate labour migration, create jobs and advancing dual vocational training for economic development in Nigeria.

“As a government, we are going to do whatever is possible to encourage this kind of relationship so that our two countries will benefit from the fruit of these interactions. So, our doors are open,” The Minister said.

Responding, the President of IHK Giessen-Friedberg Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Germany, Mathias Leder, said there was need for economic integration and capacity building of Nigerians.
