ONDO STATE POLICE COMMAND CONFIRMS THE KIDNAPPING OF 3 STUDENTS WHO ARE WORKING AT A FARM NEAR AKURE AIRPORT                                                                      10-02-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the kidnapping of three students who are working at a farm near Akure Airport.

The victims who are students of the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure  (FECA) were allegedly abducted at Oke Oge in Oba-ile area of Akure North Local Government Area of the State.

According to a report, the victims who are industrial Training, IT students in the farm were abducted on Saturday evening while returning home.

When contacted, the State police command’s spokesperson, Funmi Odunlami who confirmed the incident, said anti-kidnapping operatives had been deployed to the scene.

The state commander of Amotekun, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, who also confirmed the incident, said his men and other security operatives had been deployed to rescue the victims.

Meanwhile, the abductors are demanding a ransom of N15 million from the victims’ families.

A family source confirmed that the kidnappers had contacted the families.
