APC LEADERS CALL FOR RECONCILIATION TO TAKE OVER FCT 18-02-25
By Sadiq Aminu. Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs Mr Zephaniah Jisalo has urged party leaders and stakeholders in the Federal Capital Territory FCT, to be united and work towards winning the territory for the APC.
Mr Jisalo made the call in Abuja at an APC critical stakeholders meeting of the six area councils.
While urging the new FCT State Chairman to bring on board all the aggrieved stakeholders and members of the party, Jisalo said in politics everyone is important,
“I am aware that some of our people are not here with us, we are going to look for them and settle all the minor disagreements because in politics everyone is important.”
The FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, who expressed happiness for having the opportunity to see the party’s stakeholders at the meeting, called for such meetings regularly to hear directly from the people and plan how to win the entire Abuja for the APC in future elections.
Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, vowed to personally lead a campaign ahead of the Area Council election in the FCT and the 2027 general elections,.
While introducing the new leadership at the ward, Area Councils and the FCT at the event, the APC Zonal Secretary, Mr Yakubu Adamu, who represented the Zonal Chairman, urged the FCT state chairman to set up disciplinary and finance committees from the Ward, Area Councils and the FCT.
The new FCT APC chairman, Mr Abdulmalik Usman, said the gathering was meant to discuss the future of APC in the FCT, adding that everything possible will be done to win election convincingly in the future elections.
