NIGERIA AIR FORCE ORDERS INVESTIGATION INTO AN INCIDENT AT UNGUWAN GANGARE BARAKALLAHU IN KADUNA STATE                                                                                                         27-02-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                     Nigerian Airforce Orders Investigation Into An Incident At Unguwan Gangare Barakallahu In Kaduna State.

The Nigerian Airforce has confirmed that an incident involving its personnel and some civilians occurred yesterday at Unguwan Gangare, Barakallahu In Kaduna State.

The unfortunate incident resulted in injuries to some individuals, who are currently receiving medical care at the 461 NAF hospital.

In a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Airforce, Air Vice Marshal Olusola Akinboyewa says a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is already underway, stressing that any personnel found culpable will face the full weight of the law.

The statement expresses deep regret over the loss of life, pointing out that the NAF had reached out to the family of the deceased to express its condolences and assure them of a thorough investigation and justice.

It also urges members of the public to remain calm, as the NAF work diligently to ascertain the facts and ensure that appropriate actions are taken.

The statement adds that the Nigerian Airforce remains steadfast in its duty to protect and serve the Nigerian people, while maintaining the trust and confidence of its host communities.
