NASARAWA STATE GOVERNMENT CONDEMNS TUESDAY’S ATTACK ON FARIN DUSTE COMMUNITY OF NASARAWA LGA BY ARMED MEN                                                                       12-03-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                     Nasarawa State Government has condemned Tuesday’s attack on Farin Dutse community of Nasarawa Local Government Area by armed men.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Affairs, Mr. Peter Ahemba to newsmen in Lafia.

The statement expresses Government’s deepest condolences to families of the victims and assures them that everything possible is being done to bring the perpetrators of the act to justice.

While commending the security agencies in the state for their proactive response to the unfortunate incident, the State Government urges sustained efforts towards apprehending all those responsible for the dastardly act.

Government also appeals to citizens of the State to remain calm, peaceful and refrain from taking laws into their hands as Governor Abdullahi Sule is working closely with the security agencies to ensure that peace and security are restored to the affected community.

The violence on Tuesday had resulted in the unfortunate loss of lives and destruction of property.
