NASARAWA STATE HIGH COURT ADMITS ADDITIONAL EXHIBITS IN THE MURDER TRIAL OF A CORPS MEMBER, SALOME ADAIDU 18-03-25
By Sadiq Aminu The Nasarawa State High Court, Lafia, has admitted additional exhibits in the murder trial of a Corps member, Salome Adaidu.
At the resumed hearing this morning, Justice Simon Aboki admitted seven additional exhibits in the ongoing murder trial of Salome Adaidu, a female corps member allegedly killed by 32-year-old singer, Oluwatimileyin Daniel Ajayi.
During proceedings, the prosecution counsel, Raymond Umaru, presented a new witness, a police officer, who submitted several items as evidence, which included, a phone used to record six polythene bags that contained the dismembered remains of the deceased, as well as her severed head, which were reportedly found in the defendant’s bathroom and bedroom.
After the review of the exhibits, Justice Aboki adjourned the session until noon to allow the witness to play the recorded video before the court.
So far, the prosecution has presented four witnesses in the case.
