OLUWATIMIILEHIN AJAYI CLOSES HIS DEFENSE TODAY BEFORE A LAFIA HIGH COURT IN NASARAWA STATE                                                                               19-03-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       Oluwatimilehin Daniel Ajayi, the suspected killer of 24-year-old corps member Salome Adaidu, closed his defense today before a Lafia High Court in Nasarawa State, presided over by Justice Simon Aboki.

During the court proceedings, Ajayi, through his defense counsel, Joseph Tuku-Bisong, told the court that Salome Adaidu had visited his house as his girlfriend.

However, he claimed he could not recall what transpired afterward, from the time she was in his house up until his arrival at the police station.

Under cross-examination, the defendant denied possessing any cutlass or knives.

After listening to both sides, Justice Simon Aboki adjourned the sitting to Twentieth May to allow the prosecution and defense counsels to present their final written addresses.
