Regulatory Commission has passed through second reading in the House of Representatives.

The Bill Sponsored by a member from Katsina State, Aminu Jamo Daura will Empowers the Proposed Commission to Register, Regulate, and Monitor the Organization and Operation of Political Parties.

Similarly, a Bill to Provide for Compulsory Resignation of National and State Executive Members of Political Parties Seeking Elective Government Positions has passed through second reading.

They were among the 39 constitutional amendments related Bills passed by the Green Chamber to Alter the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended.
The Bills were referred to Constitutional Review Committee for further legislative action.c
