DEFECTION: SIX MEMBERS DEFECT TO APC AND TWO MEMBERS DEFECT TO PDP 07-05-25
By Sadiq Aminu The oldest House of Representatives Member Mutu Nickolas and five other House of Representatives members from Delta State have defected from the Peoples Democratic Party PDP to the All Progressives Congress APC.
Mr. Mutu Nickolas from Delta State who have been in the green Chamber since 1999 defected along side Victor Nwokolo, Thomas Ereyitom, Nnamdi Ezechi, Julius Pondi and Ukodhiko all from Delta State.
According to the defected members, unresolved disputes in PDP both at National and Zonal levels was reason for their defection.
Also two members of House of Representatives from Labour Party, LP, from Enugu State have defected to Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The Defected members who are Mr. Mark Obetta and Mr. Dennis Nnamdi, cited the performance of the governor Enugu and the division in Labor Party for the reasons for their defection.
