BUHARI’S MEN MEET IN ABUJA, REJECT MOVES TO PULL CPC BLOCK OUT OF APC                                                                                                                             08-05-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       Supporters of Former President Mohammadu Buhari have met in Abuja the nation’s capital and resolved to work with the all progressives Congress APC to deliver president Bola Tinubu in 2027.

At a meeting of the legacy party of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change ,CPC in Abuja the politicians led by a former Governor of Nasarawa state, Senator Tanko Almakura rejected recent moves to lure them out of the APC to join a coalition of the opposition.

Senator Almakura who traced how Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and former president Mohammadu Buhari came together to wrestle power form the then peoples democratic Party, PDP told the gathering of top party men from the North to be steadfast and work for the APC to retain power in 2027.

He explained that the current hardships being experienced in the country would soon give way when the gains of the reforms of the current administration beings to manifest.

A former Chairman of the Special Presidential Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property, Mr. Okoi Obono-Obla told Africa 247 that they were in touch with former president Buhari and took the decision with his knowledge.

That gathering was made up of notable Buhari followers including former Katsina Governor Aminu Masari, former Director General of FRCN, Dr. Mansur Liman and his Voice of Nigeria counterpart, Osita Okechukwu.
