AMAC COUNCIL ELECTION; SOLE FEMALE ASPIRANT DARES 22 MEN FOR APC TICKET                                                                                                              27-05-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       The sole female aspirant for the APC primaries in preparation for the AMAC area council election Mrs Jennifer Nnamudi, is to contest against 22 male contestants for the ticket

Briefing news men after purchasing the nomination and expression of interest form at the APC secretariat in Abuja, Mrs Nnamudi promised to prioritize free healthcare for pregnant women in the council if elected.

Insecurity she added, is another area that needs the firm hand of a woman to tackle in the council.

“Despite AMAC being host to the federal capital territory, the people are still finding it difficult to access adequate health care, security and skill acquisition opportunities.

“I’m going to contest against 22 other male contestants for the ticket, but I’m confident that I’ll emerge victorious, because when you give a woman a house, she’ll turn it into a home.

The aspirant also promised to be organizing Skills Acquisition programmes three times in a year to reduce unemployment in the area.

She lamented that being host to the federal capital territory, AMAC deserves better than what it is getting in terms of the dividence of democracy.
