IMO STATE  GOVERNOR  APPEALS TO CHILDREN NOT TO ALLOW THE HARSH ECONOMIC SITUATION TO AFFECT THEIR HOPE FOR  A BETTER NIGERIA                                                               27-05-25

By Sadiq Aminu.                                                       Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has appealed to Children not to allow the harsh economic situation in the country to affect their hope for a better Nigeria.

In a message to mark this year’s Children’s Day celebration in Owerri, the Governor expressed confidence in a brighter future for the children noting that the foundation was already been laid.

Governor Uzodimma assured Nigerian children that both President Bola Tinubu and the state governors were working hard to build a future that would guarantee peace, progress, opportunities, and lasting development.

He explained that his administration had begun revitalising the health and education sectors noting that the two pillars were essential to helping children to grow, learn, and thrive.

Governor Uzodimma urged them to stay away from bad influences like cultism, theft, and other harmful behaviours that could ruin their future while appreciating the sacrifices their parents make by showing them love, respect, and obedience.
