ANOTHER LP REP MEMBER JOINS APC

‎           By Sadiq Aminu                                                      Ahead of the 2027 Elections, the nation’s political atmosphere has continued to witness political alignment and realignment, this is seen in the recent gale of defections at the nation’s Green Chamber.

‎ The latest being the defection of the House of Representatives member, from the Labour Party, LP, Ngozi Lawrence Okolie to the the All Progressives Congress, APC.
‎ Mr. Okolie the member representing Aniocha, Oshimili Federal constituency of Delta State, who cited progressive leadership style by President Bola Tinubu’s administration as reason for joining APC, pledged to remain committed to the responsibilities of his office.
‎ The Lawmaker said in his letter read on the floor of the house by the Speaker, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, explained that he joined the APC to contribute to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu’s led administration.
‎ Earlier this month Six House of Representatives members from Delta State have defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress
‎ Among the federal lawmakers from Delta State who earlier defected are Victor Nwokolo, Thomas Ereyitomi, Nicholas Mutu, Julius Pondi, Ukodhiko Jonathan and Ezechi Nnamdi.
