GOMBE GOVERNMENT HANDS OVER NEW NSCDC OFFICE COMPLEX TO BOOST SECURITY OPERATIONS                                                                             31-05-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       The Gombe State Government has officially handed over a newly constructed, ultra-modern office complex to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Gombe State.

The facility, located at New Mile 3 in Gombe metropolis, was built by the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) and is aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of the Corps in the state.

The handover ceremony was attended by top government officials, security agencies, and other stakeholders. Presenting the keys to the facility on behalf of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Governor’s Security Adviser, Alhaji Abubakar Aminu Musa, reiterated the administration’s commitment to supporting security agencies in their efforts to maintain peace and order.

He urged the NSCDC to make effective use of the new building to improve service delivery and strengthen community security.

Receiving the keys, Gombe State NSCDC Commandant, Jibrin Idris, expressed appreciation to the Governor for the gesture. He described the donation as a morale booster and pledged that the facility would be used to enhance the Corps’ operations in protecting lives and property.

Commandant Idris also assured the public of continued collaboration with the state government to address security challenges and promote peace and stability.

The new office complex is expected to provide a more conducive working environment for NSCDC personnel and support their efforts in safeguarding the lives and property of Gombe residents.
