MINISTER OF HEALTH COMMENDS THE  ONDO STATE GOVERNMENT FOR IT’S LEADERSHIP IN UPGRADING MEDICAL STORAGE FACILITIES                                                                                                 03-06-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                        The Minister of Health, Professor Muhammad Pate has commended the Ondo State Government for its leadership in upgrading medical storage facilities to ensure the safe distribution of quality medications.

Professor Pate spoke during the inauguration of the newly upgraded Central Medical Stores, now a pharma-grade warehouse, in Akure.

Represented by the Coordinator of the National Product Supply Chain Management Program, Mrs. Celine Onunkwo, the minister urged the state to sustain its investment in healthcare and encourage health professionals to remain committed across the state.

Speaking at the event, Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, decried the proliferation of counterfeit and substandard drugs across Africa noting this had claimed numerous lives.
