APC CLOSES NATIONAL SECRETARIAT IN HONOUR OF LATE PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI………..

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has closed its National Secretariat in Abuja as a mark of respect for the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In an official statement released on Monday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, announced that the closure was directed by the Acting National Chairman, Alhaji Bukar Dalori. The Secretariat will remain closed from Monday, July 14, and is scheduled to reopen on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Morka stated that the move was in honour of the memory and legacy of the late President Buhari, who passed away recently. He called on party members and supporters nationwide to observe the period as a time for sober reflection and prayers for the peaceful repose of the former leader’s soul.

President Muhammadu Buhari, who served as Nigeria’s Head of State from 2015 to 2023, was a founding member of the APC and played a pivotal role in shaping the party’s direction and national influence.

The APC expressed its condolences to the Buhari family, the people of Katsina State, and Nigerians at large over the loss of a statesman described as a symbol of integrity, discipline, and national service.
