EMIR OF ZURU DIES AT 81 IN LONDON……….

The Emir of Zuru, Kebbi State, retired Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Sani Sami, has passed away in a London hospital at the age of 81.
Governor Nasir Idris expressed shock over the monarch’s death, describing him as a respected leader who worked for peace and development in Zuru Emirate and Kebbi State.
Sani Sami, a former Military Governor of Bauchi State during Muhammadu Buhari’s regime (1984–1985), is survived by his family.
The Kebbi State Government extended condolences to his loved ones, the Zuru Emirate, and the people of Kebbi, praying for Allah’s mercy and eternal rest for his soul. Burial details will be announced.
