ARCN EXECUTIVE SECRETARY RECEIVES DELEGATIONS FROM DABBAN ACADEMIA, LAVUN YOUTH ASSOCIATION ON COURTESY VISIT

Abuja, August 27, 2025

The Executive Secretary of the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (ARCN), Dr. Abubakar Adamu Dabban, has underscored the Council’s commitment to youth empowerment and agricultural advancement in Nigeria.

Dr. Dabban gave this assurance while receiving delegations from Dabban Academia and the Lavun Youth Association, who paid him a courtesy visit at the ARCN headquarters in Abuja.

During the visit, the groups introduced their organizations to ARCN, sought institutional support for the Lavun Youth Association, and explored areas of collaboration to foster unity and community development.

Responding, Dr. Dabban welcomed the initiative and emphasized the importance of partnerships between research institutions, academic bodies, and youth organizations. He noted that such collaboration would not only address agricultural challenges but also create opportunities for innovation and sustainable development.

The visit, he added, marks a new step in strengthening ties with grassroots organizations committed to advancing agriculture and empowering young people across Nigeria.
