Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Benjamin Kalu, has called on the people of the South East to take part in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) by INEC.
He expressed concern over the low turnout in the region, stressing that voter registration is the first step to having a voice in governance and shaping election outcomes.
Dr. Kalu urged Ndi Igbo to seize the opportunity, register in large numbers, and strengthen their political influence ahead of 2027.
“If we want development, we must be part of decision-making. It starts with registering to vote,” he said.
