FIRS URGES JOURNALISTS TO PROMOTE TAX COMPLIANCE

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has urged journalists to help drive voluntary tax compliance by educating Nigerians on the importance of paying taxes for national development.
At a workshop in Kaduna, officials highlighted the media’s role in bridging gaps between government and taxpayers, stressing that simplified information and awareness can boost trust, revenue, and growth.
