ANAMBRA POLICE MOVE TO RESCUE ABDUCTED MEDICAL DOCTOR

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikioye Orutugu, has ordered his officers to rescue a kidnapped medical doctor from Uruagu, Nnewi North, unharmed.
Police spokesperson Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga said the victim was abducted under unclear circumstances. He noted that investigations are ongoing to track down the perpetrators and secure the doctor’s release.
Mr. Orutugu urged residents of Nnewi and surrounding areas to stay calm, remain alert, and share any useful information with the police.
