SOUTHERN KADUNA NOW WITH APC – SPEAKER ABBAS

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, says Southern Kaduna now firmly supports the All Progressives Congress (APC), crediting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s inclusive and impactful leadership.

Speaking at a rally in Kafanchan to welcome top politicians from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into the APC, including Senator Sunday Marshall Katung and Hon. Daniel Amos, the Speaker described their defection as a “political earthquake” and “a new dawn for Kaduna South.”

Dr. Abbas praised President Tinubu for prioritizing Southern Kaduna’s development through key projects such as the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia, the Federal Medical Centre in Kafanchan, and the Military Command Centre in Samaru Kataf, symbols of peace, inclusion, and progress.

He also highlighted the appointments of Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah as Pro-Chancellor and Professor Qurix Williams Barnabas as Vice-Chancellor of the new university, describing them as honors that reflect the President’s trust in Southern Kaduna’s excellence.

Commending Governor Uba Sani for his inclusive governance, the Speaker urged residents to continue supporting both the President and the Governor, assuring that Southern Kaduna’s development will remain a national priority.
