ANAMBRA ELECTION PEACEFUL ACROSS THE STATE

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The governorship election in Anambra State was largely peaceful.

Governor Chukwuma Soludo voted at Ofuiyi, Unit 002, Isuofia in Aguata LGA and expressed satisfaction with the process. He noted minor BVAS issues that were quickly fixed and commended INEC for its organization.

Soludo urged voters to stay alert and condemned reports of vote buying.

Lawmaker Tony Muobike praised the large turnout, saying there was no voter apathy, while residents described the process as smooth and orderly.

Polling units across Isuofia and other areas recorded strong turnout and tight security.
