KANO GOVT WARNS AGAINST ENCROACHMENT ON BRIDGES, WATER FACILITIES

The Kano State Government has cautioned against encroaching on bridges and water board facilities, especially by members of the Tipper and Quarry Employers Union.

Commissioner for Mineral Resources, Alhaji Hamza Safiyanu, urged strict compliance with quarrying boundaries and called for collaboration with government revenue agencies. He assured the union of support as long as operations follow safety and environmental laws.

Union chairman, Alhaji Isa Jafar Kofar Naisa, pledged cooperation and reaffirmed commitment to environmental protection and the state’s monthly sanitation exercise.
