APGA CHAIRMAN HAILS INEC OVER ANAMBRA POLL

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Sly Ezeokenwa, has praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a free, credible, and peaceful governorship election in Anambra State.

Ezeokenwa made the remarks after INEC declared Professor Chukwuma Soludo winner of the November 8 election, describing it as the most transparent in the state’s history. He also commended residents and the media for their peaceful conduct.

Meanwhile, ADC representative Comrade Patrick Obianyo congratulated Soludo but raised concerns about reports of over-voting in one polling unit despite the use of BVAS.

Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Somtochukwu Udeze, also congratulated Governor Soludo, describing his victory as proof of his good governance and the people’s confidence in his leadership. He thanked Ogbaru residents for their strong support and pledged continued loyalty to the administration.
