SOLUDO THANKS ANAMBRA PEOPLE FOR RE-ELECTION

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has thanked the people of Anambra State for re-electing him as governor.
Reacting at his country home in Isuofia after INEC declared him winner of the just-concluded governorship election, Soludo praised the massive voter turnout and the peaceful conduct of the poll.
He expressed gratitude to the people for their trust and support, as well as to INEC, security agencies, and President Bola Tinubu for upholding democratic values.
Soludo, who won with about 73% of the total votes, 422,664 out of 595,298, also extended a hand of fellowship to his fellow contestants, describing the election as an improvement on the August 16 Anambra bye-election.
