The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged Nigerians not to exploit religion for personal gain or to create divisions. The party emphasized that religious differences should promote peace and unity.
APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda made the call during a visit to Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, following the recent mass abduction of pupils. He expressed concern over rising insecurity, noting its psychological impact on families and the government, while highlighting President Bola Tinubu’s support in rescue operations across Kwara and Kebbi.
Governor Bago assured that the state is actively addressing security challenges through broad stakeholder engagement and stressed that Niger State thrives on religious diversity.
