By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) is partnering with the Nigerian Air Force to strengthen safety in schools nationwide.

UBEC Executive Secretary, Dr. Aisha Garba, said during a visit by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, that no education system can thrive without security. She noted that the collaboration will help reassure parents and ensure children learn without fear.

Dr. Garba reaffirmed UBEC’s commitment to improving school safety and building a resilient education system.

Air Marshal Aneke described basic education as vital for national stability, aligning with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
