TINUBU’S SUPERHIGHWAY PROJECT SHOWS TRUE COMMITMENT TO THE NORTH — GORONYO

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

Minister of State for Works, Bello Goronyo, says the Lagos, Badagry, Sokoto Superhighway reflects President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to national development and balanced infrastructure across Nigeria.

During an inspection of the Kebbi section, Goronyo praised the progress made so far, noting completed reinforced concrete lanes, cleared routes and installed solar streetlights. He said the highway will open a major economic corridor from Illela near the Niger border down to Lagos, boosting trade, jobs and security.

Goronyo urged Northerners not to be misled ahead of 2027, stressing that Tinubu has revived a project conceived decades ago and is delivering a road expected to last over 50 years.
