DELTA GOV SIGNS ₦1.729TRN 2026 BUDGET INTO LAW

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has signed the ₦1.729 trillion 2026 Appropriation Bill into law, setting the tone for accelerated development under the MORE Agenda. The governor said the budget is focused on driving infrastructure growth, strengthening security and improving social welfare across the state.

He described the estimate as ambitious but achievable, noting that it reflects the administration’s commitment to sustainable development and economic growth without placing extra burden on citizens. The governor also signed additional laws to further support social welfare, education and security in Delta State.
