GOVERNOR CONDEMNS DEADLY LANDMINE BLAST IN ZAMFARA

Zamfara State Governor, Dr Dauda Lawal, has expressed deep sorrow over a landmine explosion planted by terrorists along the Mai Lamba–Mai Kogo road between Dansadau and Magami communities.

The governor described the incident as heartbreaking, noting that four people lost their lives while several others sustained injuries. He offered prayers for the repose of the deceased and asked for strength for their families, while also wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Governor Lawal said he has directed that all victims receive immediate and proper medical attention. He reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to end insecurity in the state, assuring residents that efforts are being intensified to prevent such attacks.

He also sympathised with the people of Dansadau and Magami, stressing that the government remains committed to protecting lives and property across Zamfara State.
