FORMER DEFENCE MINISTER DENIES MOVE TO ADC

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

Former Minister of Defence, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, has dismissed reports linking him to plans to defect to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing the claims as false and misleading.

In a statement, Badaru said the rumours were the handiwork of political mischief makers, stressing that he remains fully committed to the All Progressives Congress (APC), a party he helped to build. He urged the public to ignore the reports, reaffirming that he has no intention of leaving the APC.
