By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Olugbemisola Titilayo Odusote as Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, making her the first woman to head the institution since its establishment in 1962.

Her four-year tenure begins on January 10, 2026. Odusote, who currently serves as Deputy Director-General and Head of the Lagos Campus, will succeed Professor Isa Hayatu Chiroma.

A seasoned legal academic and administrator, Odusote has spent over two decades at the Nigerian Law School and is expected to provide strong academic and administrative leadership across its campuses.
