APC RECORDS OVER TWO MILLION E-REGISTERED MEMBERS IN ONE WEEK

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has recorded over two million digitally registered and verified members nationwide, just one week after launching its membership e-registration exercise.

The party’s National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, disclosed this in Abuja, describing the exercise as a major step toward strengthening the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections. He said the digital registration would help build a more unified and effective party structure to support President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Despite the fact that some states are yet to fully begin the exercise, Basiru expressed optimism that the party’s digital membership could rise significantly in the coming weeks as participation increases across the country.

He urged party leaders at all levels to take the exercise seriously, commending governors and party officials for their support, while assuring that challenges encountered are being addressed. He also noted that the e-registration was approved by the party’s National Executive Council, with a directive that all members be digitally registered before the end of January 2026.
