FG NAMES 48 TERROR FINANCIERS, FLAGS MAJOR GROUPS

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Federal Government has released a list of 48 individuals and groups accused of financing terrorism, naming organisations like IPOB, Ansaru and ISWAP.

The move comes after the latest mass trial of terrorism suspects, where hundreds were convicted, as authorities intensify efforts to crack down on terror funding.

Notable figures on the list include Simon Ekpa and Tukur Mamu, with the government signalling possible extradition for suspects abroad and vowing tougher action against those backing terrorism.
