RADDA CLINCHES APC TICKET AS KATSINA DELEGATES BACK SECOND-TERM BID

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has emerged as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 election after receiving overwhelming support from party delegates.

The affirmation took place at the Katsina People’s Square, where delegates endorsed the governor for a second term in what party leaders described as a peaceful and united process.

Chairman of the APC Primary Election Committee, Yakubu Machido, formally declared Radda as the party’s candidate, noting that he was effectively unopposed ahead of the exercise.

Speaking after his endorsement, Governor Radda thanked party leaders, delegates and supporters for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to continue delivering on his administration’s development agenda for the state.

The event attracted top APC officials, political stakeholders and supporters from across Katsina State, with party leaders calling for unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.
