ZAMFARA STATE APC CONGRATULATES NEW MARAFAN SOKOTO 10-11-24
By Sadiq Aminu The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has congratulated the former governor of the state, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, the senator representing Zamfara West in the National Assembly over the conferment of the traditional title of Marafan Sokoto on him by His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III.

Zamfara State, Alhaji Yusuf Idris Gusau says the conferment was an honour done to all party members and the entire people of Zamfara for finding their own worthy of the title of Marafan Sokoto.
According to the statement, the APC believed that, Senator Abdul’azeez Yati has all the qualities to earn such a title as required by the seat of the caliphate.

Tukur Umar Danfulani congratulates one of our leaders, His Excellency, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar over the conferment of one of the exalted traditional titles in the Sokoto caliphate, the Marafa of Sokoto”
It says, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar who is the son in-law to the late Marafan Sokoto of blessed memory would no doubt emulate the good virtues of his late father in-law, Alhaji Umaru Aliyu Shinkafi considering his patience, tolerance, hardwork, dedication, justice and philanthropic activities.
“His simplicity and obedience to Allah’s commandments are unique, and we hold the belief of utility by the Sultanate Council”
Similarly, Danfulani expressed gratitude to Allah for making the Sokoto Sultanate Council for finding Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar worthy for the title of Marafan Sokoto.
The party also prays Allah to continue to guide and protect the senator in all that he’s doing to humanity, especially in the state.
