NELFUND SAYS IT’S STUDENT LOAN APPLICATION SYSTEM, SLAS HAS BEEN FULLY DIGITIZED TO STREAMLINE AND ACCELERATE THE PROCESS                                                                                    19-06-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                        The Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) says its Student Loan Application System, SLAS has now been fully digitised to streamline and accelerate the process.

A statement by the Director, Corporate Communications, Mrs. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, urges accredited institutions to request access to SLAS to verify and upload student data related to loan applications.

It says the step was crucial to ensure timely processing and disbursement of approved student loans.

According to the Fund, once granted access, institutions will be able to view a real-time dashboard of their students’ loan applications, verify submitted data, and track the status of each application.
