By Sadiq Aminu                                                     The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC Dr Abdullahi Umar-Ganduje, says crises between governors and their deputies is a major challenge affecting democratic leadership in Nigeria.

Ganduje made the observation while receiving the Kogi state Governor Usman Ododo on a Courtesy visit at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

The National Chairman also frowned at the reoccurrence of crises between successors and predecessors in all leadership positions especially at state levels, adding that the party would brainstorm on how to stop the trend.

He commended Governor Ododo for the relationship that exists between him and his predicessor Alhaji Yayaha Bello, saying it’s worthy of emulation

Governor Usman Ododo stated that he was at the party Secretariat to seek further guidance on how best to govern his people.

He disclosed that under his watch Kogi state is no longer fertile for criminals, kidnappers and bandits.

The Kogi state Governor, commended President Ahmed Tinubu and National Secretariat of the party for the opportunity given to him to serve the state especially as a youth.
