By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

Dr. Muhammad Muhammad Shaku, a retired Chief Lecturer and former Deputy Provost (Academics) of the Niger State College of Education, Minna, has continued his grassroots engagement across Lavun Local Government Area with a community outreach visit to Shaku Village.

The visit, which formed part of his ongoing political consultations and campaign activities, brought together community members, local leaders, and youths. During the engagement, Dr. Shaku emphasized the importance of unity, inclusive development, and people-oriented leadership, stressing that meaningful progress can only be achieved through direct interaction with the grassroots.

Dr. Shaku noted that development should not be limited by place of origin, but driven by a shared commitment to improving the welfare of all communities. He reiterated his readiness to serve the people with sincerity, experience, and fairness if given the opportunity.

Residents of the village welcomed the visit and commended the outreach, describing it as a positive step toward stronger community, political engagement. The interaction also provided an opportunity for locals to present their concerns and expectations, particularly in areas of education, youth empowerment, and basic infrastructure.

Dr. Shaku, who recently stepped into politics after decades of service in the education sector, has been widely recognized for his administrative experience and calm leadership style. His campaign continues to focus on grassroots consultation, practical support, and policies aimed at long-term development across Lavun Local Government Area and Niger State at large.
