POLICE RESCUE TWO KIDNAP VICTIMS IN BAUCHI CRACKDOWN

The Bauchi State Police Command has rescued two kidnap victims during a coordinated security operation in Gwamnare Forest, Ningi Local Government Area of the state.
Police spokesperson Nafiu Abubakar said the victims were freed after operatives launched a raid on suspected kidnappers’ hideouts following a rise in abduction cases in the area. He added that no lives were lost during the operation.
The command said security operatives have intensified efforts to rescue other victims still in captivity and track down the fleeing suspects. It also assured residents of its determination to rid the state of criminal elements and strengthen security across affected communities.
