NIGER IMPOSES 24-HOUR CURFEW, SUSPENDS MINING ACTIVITIES
The Niger State Government has imposed a 24-hour curfew across the state and suspended all mining activities indefinitely.
The directives take effect immediately after Friday’s Juma’at prayer and are part of measures to address the security situation and restore safety across the state.
The government has advised residents to remain indoors and comply with the curfew and other security directives until further notice.
