       By Sadiq Aminu                                                     Over Five hundred Chief Executive Officers CEOs and elder statesmen from across Africa including Former President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria, Professor Patrick Lumumba of Kenya are to converge on Accra, Ghana for a meeting towards addressing various factors affecting the growth of the continent.

The organisers of the conference,
a non governmental organization, Guardians of the Nation International, GOTNI, believe that Africa can only be developed through self concerted efforts by Africans as they proffer solutions to the challenges affecting the Continent without relying on Western Nations.At a News Briefing ahead of the Conference put together by a non governmental organization, Guardians of the Nation International, GOTNI, with the theme ” Transformational Leadership, Panacea for Africa’s Rising”,the President of the CEOs Forum, Mr Shina Peller said the dialogue would bridge the gap between Citizens and the those in Diaspora and create visionary leaders to engender solutions to the socio-political and Economic problems in Africa.

The Secretary of the forum, Mrs Sarah Samuel-Amana stressed the need for Africa to take its Center stage, considering its Population, Resources to ensure positive Change for Africans.

The President of GOTNI and Conference Convener ,Dr. Linus Okorie explained that Nigeria being the most populous black Nation, recognizes the urgency need to collaborate with other African Countries to chart a new course to transform the African continent.
