commissioner nominees into the State Executive Council.

Governor Douye Diri few days ago sent a list of fourteen commissioner nominees to the assembly for screening and confirmation in the first batch of possible appointment into his second term cabinet.

However, one of the nominees, Mr. Daniel Igali, was absent.

Those screened and confirmed are: Biriyai Dambo, Maxwell
Ebibai, Moses Teibowei, Mrs. Koku Obiyai, Gentle Emelah, Ayibakipreye Brodericks, George Flint and Komuko Akari Kharim.

Others are Perepuighe Biewari, Jones Ebieri, Barr. Peter Afagha, Mrs. Bidei
Elizabeth and Michael Magbisa.

Advising the nominees shortly after the screening, the Deputy Speaker, Mr.
Michael Ogbere, enjoined them to work as a team and operate an open door policy to address the challenges of development facing the State.

Also, the Leader of the House, Mr. Monday-Bubou Obolo said expectations were high from the people of the state for them to perform, giving an assurance that the House will do its best to keep them on their toes, through its oversight functions while giving them the needed legislative support where necessary.
