TROOPS OF THE NIGERIA ARMY : FOUR SPECIAL FORCES COMMAND DOMA IN NASARAWA STATE HAVE ARRESTED THREE SUSPECTS WITH TRUCK LOAD OF VANDALIZED RAILWAY TRACKS

Deputy Director Army Public Relations Officer of 4 Special Command, Major Joseph Adekunle Afolasade while briefing newsmen in Doma said the suspects where arrested in Keana local government area of the state.
The suspects have been handed over to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps for further investigations and prosecution to court.
In the last few months, troops of the Nigerian Army 4 Special Forces Command Doma in Nasarawa State as part of their routine operations to check insecurity especially in the southern part of the state have beamed their searchlight to the persistent cases of vandalism of railway tracks in the state.
This is the second arrest of suspected railway vandals by troops of 4 Special Forces Command Doma Nasarawa State between July and August 2023.
Deputy Director Army Public Relations, 4 Special Forces Command Major Joseph Afolasade while handing over the suspected railway vandals to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps said they were apprehended at Kwarra village of Keana Local Government Area of the state.
He stated that the suspects while conveying the vandalized rail tracks fully loaded in a truck out of the area were intercepted by troops of the command who were on a routine patrol.
Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps Nasarawa State Command , Mr Jerry Victor who received the suspected railway vandals noted that the strong synergy among security agencies in the state would continue to record impactful results to ensure protection of public infrastructure.
In an interview, one of the suspects Mr Chibuike Akubuilo who identified himself as the driver of the vehicle which belongs to a private firm said he was given part payment out of one point two million Naira to convey the vandalized rail tracks to Porthacourt.
The suspects and the truck were to remain in detention at the 4 Special Forces Command Doma pending their movement to the state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps in Lafia the Nasarawa State capital.
