BAGO COMMISERATES WITH NIGER STATE CORRESPONDENTS CHAPEL OVER LOSS OF MEMBER                                                                        06-09-22.

By: Sadiq Aminu                                                     Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago has expressed sadness over the death of Hammed Salawu Bamidele, the Pilot Newspaper Correspondent in the state.

The Governor, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the Correspondents Chapel and the Nigeria Union of Journalist’s NUJ, Niger State Council.

Alh Mohammed Umar Bago who acknowledged the commitment of the deceased and his role in promoting the tenets of responsible journalism in the state said his service to the state will greatly be missed.

“I deeply sympathize with his immediate and extended family members, the Correspondents Chapel and the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Niger State Council”

“His demise is indeed a sad one, and this is the 2nd death recorded in the Chapel since I assumed office, but we can not question Allah. I pray that Allah will grant his soul Aljannah Firdausi and comfort the family, and Professional colleagues.”

Late Salawudeen Hammed Bamidele, practised journalism in the state for decades.
