NIGER GOVERNOR URGES NIGERIANS TO REMAIN RESOLUTE, SUPPORTIVE TOWARDS NATION BUILDING 30-09-23
By Sadiq Aminu Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has urged Nigerians to remain resolute and supportive in their individual and collective efforts towards nation-building to move the country forward.
Governor Bago in his congratulatory message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim,to mark the 63rd anniversary of Nigerians nationhood, said oneness of Nigeria remains more advantageous despite the challenges being faced.
Umaru Bago had advocated the need for Nigerians to reflect more on what unites them as a nation than what divides them.
According to the governor “.Under the renewed hope of President Tinubu who has so far shown commitment and resilience to keep the nation on an upward trajectory.
He however enjoined Nigerians to have deep and sober reflections on what the nation has gone through in the past decades and they will have reasons to
thank God.
Bago acknowledged that the Nation has not attained the desired level of development yet, it is not static in its developmental strides.
The Governor had also assured Nigerlites that the State under his leadership will experience unprecedented transformation and that he will take necessary steps to expand the state economy through strategic foreign partnership and equally ensure that palpable peace is felt in the state.
The Governor prayed to God to continue to keep Nigeria as one indivisible entity where peace, justice, equity and fairness will take centre stage so that the labour of the leaders in the past and present will not be in vain.
