WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY: GOVERNOR ABDULRAZAK SALUTES KWARA STATE TEACHERS 05-10-23
By Sadiq Aminu As the nation commemorate World Teachers’ Day, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has commended teachers for their hard work and renewed commitment to the task of raising leaders and serving as the beacons of light.
In a congratulatory message issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the Governor restated his commitment to the welfare of teachers, and all workers alike in the state.
He urged them to remain the solid foundation stone from which the edifice of every successful person sprouted and the fountain from where people draw knowledge.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq noted that teachers are indispensable in the task of nation-building and commended them for their invaluable partnerships over the years.
The Governor assured commitment to the ideal of not just hiring the best hands for the job, but also ensuring prompt payment of their salaries and other welfare packages.
The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘The Teachers We Need For The Education We Want: The Global Imperative to Reverse The Teacher Shortage’.
